13 September 2012: The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has agreed to make changes to the content and format of the ICAO flight plan form (FPL). These changes become globally applicable on 15 November 2012, although many States will accept the new format prior to that date. Coincident with these changes Ireland is amending its flight planning requirements.
