28 January 2010: On 27th January 2010 the Labour Court issued its recommendation in relation to a dispute as to whether the Irish Aviation Authority's introduction of four projects - concerning the operation of air traffic control in the State - constituted normal on-going changes.

The Court concluded that the changes associated with the disputed projects do not go beyond the parameters of what can properly be classified as normal on-going change.

The Irish Aviation Authority welcomes the Labour Court's conclusion.
