November Traffic Movements

Traffic statistics for November show continued decline in commercial flights. The following details the reduction in traffic growth, compared to November 2008.

  • - 8.7% decrease in en-route over flights
  • - 7.7%decrease in North Atlantic Communication flights
  • - 17.5% decrease in commercial flights at Dublin airport
  • - 16.8% decrease in commercial flights at Cork airport
  • - 29.1% decrease in commercial flights at Shannon airport
  • - 18.9% reduction in commercial flights at the three State airports

For the period January.09 to November.09, there have been the following cumulative reductions in traffic growth, compared to the same period in 2008.

  •  - 8.1% decrease in en-route over flights
  •  -7.9% decrease in North Atlantic Communication flights
  •  -15.4% decrease in commercial flights at Dublin airport
  •  -25.6% decrease in commercial flights at Cork airport
  • -15.7% decrease in commercial flights at Shannon airport
  •  -16.7% reduction in commercial flights at the three State airports
