Temporary Airspace Restrictions - Galway

A restriction on the flying of aircraft shall apply in a Temporary Restricted Area (TRA) located over Galway Bay and East of the Island of Inisheer, in the airspace contained within the undermentioned:

(a) |
from the surface to 2,500 feet; |

(b) |
the period of the restriction shall be; |
||
|
a. 24th May 2009 active from 1300 UTC to 2130 UTC. |
|
|
|
|
b. 25th May 2009 active from 0330 UTC to 2130 UTC |
|
|
|
|
c. 29th, 30th May and 06th June 2009 active from 0930 UTC to 2130 UTC daily. |

This TRA is established to protect the safety of aircraft operating at the Volvo Ocean Race. Please find attached chart titled ‘Volvo Galway Bay TRA’.
