National Aerospace NDT Board
The National Aerospace NDT Board Ireland is comprised of companies with a professional interest in the control and application of standards in non-destructive testing in the Irish aerospace industry. The rules and procedures of the board were agreed on
18th October 2006 and came into effect on the 12th March 2007.
The Board regulates and controls the implementation of employer-based NDT personnel training and certification standards within the Irish aerospace industry in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) Nr. 1321/2014 Annex II (Part-145) and European Standard EN 4179. The board is a full voting member of the European Federation for NDT (EFNDT).
The NANDT Board-Ireland was audited by the Irish Aviation Authority on 13th June 2023; NANDT Board Ireland Audit [Next Audit Due by 12/06/2026]
